OutlierKit wants our website to be usable for as many people as possible. This is true no matter your ability or assistive technology. This page describes the standards we work toward. It also tells you how to reach us if something on the site is hard to use.
Conformance target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible. They help people with a wide range of disabilities. This includes visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.
What we do
- Semantic HTML: landmarks, headings, lists, and labels are used so screen readers can navigate the page.
- Keyboard navigation: every interactive element is reachable and operable without a mouse.
- Alt text on images: content images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked as such.
- Color contrast: body text and interactive elements meet WCAG AA contrast ratios.
- Visible focus: keyboard focus is clearly indicated on interactive elements.
- Skip-to-content link: every page includes a "Skip to main content" link for keyboard users.
Known limitations
Some embedded third-party content may not fully conform to WCAG 2.2 AA. This includes YouTube embeds, analytics scripts, and social widgets. We use these sparingly. We look for accessible alternatives when available.

Is something on this site hard to use with your assistive technology? Is a page not accessible? Please tell us. We treat accessibility issues as bugs. We fix them as quickly as we can.
